Carrying a long gun in Florida is not difficult. You may not open carry any firearm in Florida, unless you’re involved in or traveling to or from certain specific activities.
Whether or not you have a Concealed Weapon or a Firearm License, you can carry a long gun either open or concealed, when traveling to and from and of course, during the following: fishing, hunting, or camping, as well as while going to or from shooting if you are regularly enrolled member of a target, skeet, or trap shooting club. Also, if you are firing weapons for testing or target practice under safe conditions, you may carry a long gun.
Significantly, while traveling to and from these activities, if you stop to run an errand, go out to eat, or for any other purpose unrelated to “travelling,” the law treats it as if you’re not travelling to these events. However, if you’re in a car, there is no need to worry as long guns may be kept in a vehicle in Florida for a lawful purpose, either concealed and securely encased or openly.

Can a loaded rifle be stored concealed in a vehicle in florida?
It does not need to be a target, skeet, or trap shooting club, I do not believe those types of clubs are even mentioned in the law. A collectors club or even a show, if you are a member of the club putting it on would be covered.
Obviously everyone who walks in and out of a gun show with the long arm they’re about to trade in or have just purchased, in front of police officers and deputies, every weekend, are not arrested or even questioned.

Yes, you can carry a loaded rifle concealed in your vehicle. Florida Statute 790.25(5) states “…Nothing herein contained prohibits the carrying of a legal firearm other than a handgun anywhere in a private conveyance when such firearm is being carried for a lawful use. Nothing herein contained shall be construed to authorize the carrying of a concealed firearm or other weapon on the person. This subsection shall be liberally construed in favor of the lawful use, ownership, and possession of firearms and other weapons, including lawful self-defense as provided in s. 776.012.”

I just don’t want to be arrested for carrying my weapons when I go to the range or when I have my pistol concealed when I am out and about doing daily activities.
Most people are very ignorant about HISTORY. Taking the citizen’s arms is the first act of any dictator/tyrant and the present pseudo administration is the prime example.
Keep your eyes open on this corrupted government that will try to eliminate the Second Amendment. If it happens, be prepared for the long awaited civil war.
